CHESHUNT IS NO. 1 !

Hertfordshire has become accustomed to consistently ranking highly on commuters preferred location search when making the leap over the M25 – and this year is no exception. A recent article by Totally Money ranks no less than 6 of the top 10 most desirable commuter towns as being in Hertfordshire. Cheshunt takes the number one spot due to combination of short commuting times (26 minutes to Liverpool Street) coupled with one of the lowest season ticket rates and lower than average house prices making it a place of significant interest for those moving out of London.

Making up the rest of the top ten destinations in Herts are Broxbourne, Waltham Cross, Hatfield, Watford and Hemel Hempstead, all of which benefit from similar traits to Cheshunt. Whilst this isn’t new to many of the people who have made the move, it does continue to reinforce the message that Hertfordshire is an ideal county to move to if the inner city life is no longer suitable.
